Statistically speaking, we’re all average at something. Yet, we tend to feel shame when acknowledging this, or worse yet, isolate or distract ourselves with something new out of not feeling “good enough.”

You should never quit what feels fun for you when it’s healthy and adds to your life in positive ways. And don’t quit if you’re growing more as a person because of what you’re learning in the process, regardless of the results. Plus, the word “average” is anything but a negative. Here it means bravery, vulnerability, relatability, maybe even silliness, and progress... no matter what.
